West is the Best

| February 27th, 2010

The evening falls onto the West

The silent breeze speaks quietly

Onto to the hollow beat of the breast.

The solid titanium quadrant of your brain

escapes the beginning of the end

And silently says you should refrain.

You are the best. She is the worse.

Forever burn unto to the toast

blackened ripe with solitary hope.

Draining, she has in store

For excessive possession of one’s dope

Collapse unto your shoulder floor.

BLOK + 441 Mag VIDEO SHOOT

| February 26th, 2010

441 Magazine is a new publication I started with Mariel and Paul Marin (they’re cousins) and tonight we just wrapped up our first video shoot with the band BLOK. Here’s a photo of BLOK. I’m hoping awesome things are going to be in the works with 441. It already seems to be blowing up and we haven’t even produced the first issue yet! This would actually turn me off because of all the hype happening before actually producing anything, but in this case it seems to me that I’ll fine. Either that or I just don’t care about the ‘pressures’ anymore. Be free. Be alive. Do what you want. Rock on Garth. Rock on Wayne. BLING!

RECAP 2009 /

| February 18th, 2010

” Cut and paste; construct, de-construct, repeat;” – Mariel M.

I don’t think I’ve ever made an official follow up on this site for the YEAR 2009. So I was thinking I might as well state our accomplishments of our demure foundation year since it’s already FEBRUARY 2010 and its’ been quite a busy year for me already with new projects to fill this space in. YES, I said NEW projects for this brand new decade! I’m stoked.

So neufishers, an official statement in images.

“Bryan [Ferry] tends to, uuh, being a trained conceptualist, under Richard Hamilton i think, he tends, what he intends to do is take things from the street and elevate them up to fine art. Where as me and my working class arrogant nonchalance tend to steal from the fine arts and demean it down to street level.” – David Bowie
