I like infographs, especially ones about weed. Enjoy some good old reading and possibly learning.

“I live in Los Angeles. I drive in Los Angeles. I think about traffic a lot in Los Angeles. A few months ago, I discovered Matt Logue’s Empty LA photographs. I didn’t think much about it at the time, but every time I was stuck in rush hour all-hour traffic, I found myself thinking – What if tomorrow everyone’s car disappeared.” – Ross Ching, Film Maker
Cinéma vérité style. 1969
Mostly considered an anti-drug film, it was made for the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. The film follows its protagonist, Donny B, a young black man who appears to be a heroin addict, as he makes his way through the cruel ghettos of New York City… Through the run time of 14 minutes, a blues-like tune plays over the footage and voice-overs, with vocals that come in and out during the film, narrating Donny B as he does wrong.
This is a track done by my best friend BillyMisfits. There’s something utterly haunting about it, I like that.
441 Magazine is a new publication I started with Mariel and Paul Marin (they’re cousins) and tonight we just wrapped up our first video shoot with the band BLOK. Here’s a photo of BLOK. I’m hoping awesome things are going to be in the works with 441. It already seems to be blowing up and we haven’t even produced the first issue yet! This would actually turn me off because of all the hype happening before actually producing anything, but in this case it seems to me that I’ll fine. Either that or I just don’t care about the ‘pressures’ anymore. Be free. Be alive. Do what you want. Rock on Garth. Rock on Wayne. BLING!
Carrie: I got mugged she took everything i got!
Samantha: It’s called the brazilian wax.
Miranda: Why didn’t you tell her to stop?
Carrie: I triiiied… I feel like one of those freaking hairless dogs.
Samantha: It’s an aesthetic thing everyone does that out here.
Miranda: Ofcourse they do L.A. man are too lazy to have to go searching for anything.
Samantha: Well she must have left something? a triangle? a little landing strip?
Carrie: No! I am totally bald and while I’m at it… freezing!

It was my first time to see Health live and I was shocked at how amazing the show was… I loved how they got on stage saying “Hi we’re Health from Los Angeles, California” and 1 second later they started to play. It was like getting a kick in your face.
