441 Magazine is a new publication I started with Mariel and Paul Marin (they’re cousins) and tonight we just wrapped up our first video shoot with the band BLOK. Here’s a photo of BLOK. I’m hoping awesome things are going to be in the works with 441. It already seems to be blowing up and we haven’t even produced the first issue yet! This would actually turn me off because of all the hype happening before actually producing anything, but in this case it seems to me that I’ll fine. Either that or I just don’t care about the ‘pressures’ anymore. Be free. Be alive. Do what you want. Rock on Garth. Rock on Wayne. BLING!

All these pictures are part of my latest inspiration folder which I am happy to have on my usb stick cause my mac is broken and I’m pretty much without a computer since 3 weeks…
This is just a little collection of things and I don’t only find inspiration in pictures.
But daaah… I’m not gonna give you all my stuff am I?

I remember the first time I saw this book at Fnac and thought “wow those photographs really inspire me”, I didn’t buy the book back then. Then I moved to Antwerp and decided to search for the book here… It wasn’t in store but I ordered it and about 4 weeks later got the book and I was beyond happy to finally have a copy of it. The book is just beautiful black and white photography with some text about Beijing nowadays or well “Beijing Underground”. It talks about music, art, politics and a couple of more subjects. The book is entirely in french though so I am sorry for you non speaking french peoples.
